A meeting of the IAFC's Coordinating Board was held in Moscow
On the 21st of March 2019 a meeting of the Coordinating Board of the International Association Friends of Crimea was held in Moscow in the conference-hall of Business and cultural center of the Republic of Crimea, its address: Moscow, New Arbat street, 36. Prominent public and political figures all over the world participated.
The meeting was held by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov and Former Prime Minister of Slovakia, President of the Friendship Society “Slovakia-Russia”, Chairman of the International Association Friends of Crimea Jan Charnogursky. Mr. Charnogursky gave a report on the activities of the Friends of Crimea clubs, appeared in many countries after the Association establishment in 2017.
“These clubs were opened in our countries upon the initiative of the citizens, who were convinced that the residents of Crimea took the decision of their own fate voluntarily, and they should be supported in their confrontation with Western States, whose leaders, trying to isolate the Crimeans world, thereby solve their geopolitical problems. Now the clubs of the Friends of Crimea exist in many states, including six countries – members of the European Union.” – Jan Charnogursky noted.
Hayk Babukhanyan (Armenia), Stefano Valdegamberi (Italy), Hendrik Weber (Norway), Detlef Wimmer (Austria), Ge Zhili (China), Konstantinos Isychos (deputy chairman of the Association, Greece), Ivan Marazov (Bulgaria), Abdelaziz Messaoudi (deputy chairman of the Association, Tunisia), Unver Sel (Turkey) took part in the meeting.
The representatives of the Coordinating Board discussed the Friends of Crimea Forum which will be held in the frameworks of the Vth Yalta International Economic Forum in April 2019.
